Fact 2. I began writing my own stories after reading The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien in school. It was such an inspirational book and I couldn’t wait to turn the next page to find out what would happen next.
Fact 3. I invented my first product called RunwaySpray ™ which is a lipstick size ‘ladder’ stop spray for hosiery, when I was 17. My first customers were Superdrug and The Arcadia Group.
Fact 4. I have a small dog. She is an unusual breed and doesn’t drop any hair, which helps in our house as we have two asthmatics in the family. Our dog collects pebbles from the garden and hides them all over the house!
Fact 5. I used to design my own bespoke, Swarovski crystal and sterling silver jewellery and sell it wholesale to retailers across the U.K.
Lizzie appeared on Sky News, ITV Lunchtime News, This Morning, The Big Breakfast, BBC’s Worldwide Radio Service, amongst others for becoming one of Fair Play London’s Female Innovators. She was also asked to be a Judge on Shell LiveWire's Grand Ideas Award for new innovations.
Lizzie lives with her gorgeous family and a very unusual dog. In between the school run and baking cakes (or burning them!), she sits in her rooftop studio daydreaming about new characters for her novels whilst drinking copious mugs of tea. All of Lizzie’s books are about friendship and relationships and she often weaves stories around the romantic lives of eccentric entrepreneurs and their businesses, as she's had one or two unusual businesses of her own! She is the author of sizzling beach read, Babe Driven, medical romance novel, Love’s Child and mystical romance, Finding Gina.
