Book Blurb:
Dex Remington is one of the top PC game developers in the United States. He’s handsome, smart, and numb. So damn numb that he’s not sure he’ll ever find a reason to feel again.
A chance encounter sparks intense desires in Ellie and Dex. Desires that make her want to run—and make him want to feel. A combination of lust and fear leads these young lovers down a dangerous path. Is it possible to cross a burned bridge, or are they destined to be apart forever?

My Review:
Dex is handsome, tattooed, a leading PC game developer and founder of Thrive Entertainment. He has thrown himself into his work and built a shield around his heart, after having it broken by Ellie when she left him high and dry four years earlier, after he told her he loved her.
Dex has always loved Ellie, from the moment she climbed through his bedroom window seeking his comfort when they were children. When a chance meeting brings them back together, Dex opens his heart to her but lives in constant fear of her shattering him once again. Can Ellie learn to face her problems without running and accept Dex’s love?
I adored Dex, a sexy, tattooed geek. You don’t come across many of those in books. He was so patient and understanding with Ellie. So loving and protective. They were perfect for each other. I understood why Ellie behaved the way she did but I was ready to slap her upside the head if she broke his heart yet again! The author sucked me right in, I could feel their pain and their joy.
I loved every moment of this and look forward to reading Sage's book. I will be stalking the author.
