Mercy is a full length standalone romance, written in dual point of view.
Nix had the childhood from hell. When a young Becca stood up to his father to protect him, Nix never forgot her. He has been watching over her ever since, fearing his father would seek revenge.
Nix is not your average hero. Hating what he saw when he looked in the mirror, he has covered himself from head to toe in tattoos. He earns his living as a killer, but he is a killer with a heart. He protects those he cares about. My heart broke for him in the beginning.
Becca copes well despite the fact her mother constantly attempts to find her a husband. I liked Becca, she is self-sufficient, outspoken and witty.
Their romance was well developed and believable. Although there was plenty of drama, it was not between the couple. They were perfect together.
To sum Mercy up in a few words: heart-stopping, raw, angst, hot, sexy, drama. If you enjoy dark reads you will love this.
I received an ARC in return for my honest review.
